Relax or Play in Avonglen's Garden
Avonglen has a large developed garden at the rear of the house for the enjoyment of our guests. Fully enclosed by a 6ft fence and lockable gate, the garden offers privacy as well as security for small children.
Our cast aluminium dining table and parasol 
is located on the patio area adjacent to the kitchen door and weve also added in a
dedicated area for the Weber BBQ (which also includes a rotisserie). There are also 2 additional garden benches as well as an Arbour and these have
been strategically placed so that guests can sit out in the sun, whatever the time of day. All of our garden seating comes complete with cushions
for added comfort.
The garden borders have been planted with bulbs, shrubs, climbers and perennials 
so that our guests have the added relaxation
that a beautiful garden provides. In addition, we also have a productive area where we grow fruit (apple tree, plum tree, strawberries
and rhubarb), salads (lettuce and rocket) and herbs. Guests are very welcome to use anything that is in season at the time of their visit.
Children find our garden to be a fantastic playground and we've added in a few toys to help to keep them amused. Children will find a swing, a chute,
a space hopper, a ride on school bus, a kids trike 
and we also have a water slide and a paddling pool (just in case the sun shines).
Mountain Bikes
Avonglen offers guests the opportunity to rent adult mountain bikes for only £25 per bike per week. All of our bikes come complete with pumps, water bottles, puncture repair kits, tyre levers, toolkits, front and rear lights, bells and bike computers (distance/speed/time) and we have two that offer heart rate monitors/calorie counters as well as altimeters and thermometers. Helmets are available if required.
We keep 4 bikes permanently at Avonglen but we can provide 6 if required.
